Marc Peeters, MD, PhD

Marc Peeters is CEO of the Antwerp University Hospital and Professor of oncology at the Antwerp University. Dr. Peeters is board member of the Flemish Society of Gastroenterology and member of several medical societies, including: the Belgian Group of Digestive Oncology, the Belgian Society of Medical Oncology, the European Society of Medical Oncology, the American Society for Clinical Oncology and the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer.

His research interests have included identifying molecular markers and modulating therapy in digestive tumors. Dr. Peeters has been involved in many clinical studies on therapeutic agents for gastrointestinal tumors, published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and was author and editor of several chapters in oncology books.

Mrs. Svirchuk also has an important role as part of The National Rehabilitation Center "Unbroken", where adults and children affected by the war receive comprehensive qualified medical care: reconstructive surgery, orthopedics, robotic prosthetics and emergency care.
