Mette Rosendal Darmer

Deputy Director at Copenhagen University Hospital (Rigshospitalet) in the Center for Cancer and Organ Diseases, with a particular focus on patient processes and organizational development, including the hospitals’ challenge with more patients and fewer staff.

Rigshospitalet is the largest and oldest hospital in Denmark (1775). Rigshospitalet is a highly specialised hospital for all of Denmark, with treatment, research, innovation and training at international level. Working with international healthcare stakeholders, Rigshospitalet contributes to developing the overall healthcare system so that all patients, irrespective of the rarity or complexity of their illness, receive high-quality treatment.​​The hospital has just launched a new vision and are building an innovative children’s hospital.
